Bonner Leaders Program

Founded in 2011, The Bonner Leaders Program engages work-study students in community-focused service. Bonner Leaders make a four-year commitment to a local nonprofit, which allows them to gain an understanding of community challenges and solutions. This on-site volunteer work is complemented by weekly meetings and workshops. Over the course of their Carolina careers, Bonner Leaders complete more than 1,000 service hours, growing into passionate leaders with hearts for sustainable service and social justice.

Crash Campaign

Crash Campaign is a student competition that takes place over 24 hours in the School of Media and Journalism at the University of North Carolina. It allows students to gain experience, showcase their talent as well as give back to the local community. Students will compete in teams to solve local business and non-profit marketing problems. These teams will conduct the research, develop the strategy and implement the solutions. Once time is up, the ideas will be pitched to a panel of experienced judges and clients followed by a networking event.

Envision Carolina

Envision Carolina is a student-run campaign to reshape McCorkle Place on the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's campus. Envision Carolina wants to recognize the stories and achievements of the entire Carolina Community. We want to celebrate and encourage the progress and achievements of students and non-students, and how it has shaped our history and brought us to where we are now.
